Frequently Asked Questions

How are medication needs addressed for residents?

A nurse is always at hand every month to organize medication for every resident. She/he sets up the Medication Administration Record for each resident and establishes contact with the pharmacy and the doctor. All medicines are blister-packed and thus easily available for use by the residents. Nurse Assistants assist residents on a day-to-day basis in self-medication administration. A nurse may delegate nurse assistants to help administer medication where residents may need help with direct administration such eye-drops or lotions.
